Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how WDC — Wise Digital Creators uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, including the analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels.

2. The cookies we use

We use two categories of cookies. Analytics cookies are only placed if you accept them via our cookie banner — they are switched off by default.

Strictly necessary cookies

Essential for the website to function and to remember your cookie choice. These do not require consent. They include a small local-storage entry that records whether you accepted or declined analytics.

Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type) so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_<id>” to distinguish visitors and sessions. These cookies are only set after you give consent.

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors. Typical lifetime: up to 2 years.
  • _ga_<container-id> — maintains session state. Typical lifetime: up to 2 years.

3. Consent

When you first visit, analytics cookies are blocked until you choose. Our banner lets you Accept or Decline. We use Google Consent Mode, so Google Analytics does not store analytics cookies or identifiers until you accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, which will make the banner appear again.

4. Google as a processor and international transfers

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, which acts as our data processor. Google may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google’s own privacy and cookie documentation.

5. Managing and opting out

  • Decline in our banner — analytics cookies are never set.
  • Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies at any time; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
  • Google opt-out — you can install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6. Changes and contact

If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Questions? Email us at [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
