We are committed to handling your data lawfully, transparently, and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection law.
1. Who we are
The data controller for personal data collected through this website is Willems Digital Consulting CommV. (WDC — Wise Digital Creators), with registered office at Melkouwen 135A, 2590 Berlaar, Belgium, enterprise/VAT number BE 0755.523.595.
You can reach us at [email protected] or +32 468 28 38 23 for any question about this policy or your personal data.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data we need, and only for the purposes described below:
- Contact enquiries — your name, email address, and the content of any message you send through the contact form or by email.
- Newsletter subscriptions — the email address you provide when subscribing, stored with our email provider.
- Scheduling — if you book a call, the booking details (name, email, chosen time) processed by our scheduling provider.
- Usage analytics — when you consent, Google Analytics 4 collects statistics about how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) using cookies and an online identifier. See our Cookie Policy for details. If you do not consent, no analytics data is collected.
- Technical data — your server logs may temporarily record your IP address and browser for security and to deliver the site, as is standard for any web server.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under the GDPR:
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a possible engagement — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To send our newsletter — on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
- To understand aggregate site usage and improve our content — on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To keep the site secure and operational — on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security of our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
4. Who has access to your data
Your data is accessible to us and to the service providers (processors) who help us operate the website. We currently rely on the following categories of providers:
- Hosting & content delivery — to serve the website.
- Email & newsletter delivery — to receive your enquiries and send the newsletter you subscribed to.
- Scheduling — to let you book a call.
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — to measure how the site is used, only where you have consented (see our Cookie Policy).
These providers process data only on our instructions and under a data processing agreement. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
5. How long we keep your data
- Contact enquiries — kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our relationship, and up to 24 months thereafter, unless a longer legal retention period applies.
- Newsletter data — kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Analytics — aggregated and anonymised; not linked to you and not retained in a personally identifiable form.
- Server logs — kept for a short period for security purposes and then deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”).
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you gave, at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You may be asked to verify your identity before we act on a request.
7. Cookies
This website uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) only after you consent via our cookie banner, plus strictly necessary cookies. We use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies. For full details, including how to withdraw consent, see our Cookie Policy.

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données): https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concern first — please contact us at [email protected].
